BROOK, Rodney Desmond It is with great sadness, we advise that our dear Dad, Rodney Brook, passed away peacefully at Aspiring Care Centre in Wanaka in the early hours of Friday, March 21, 2025. Born on 30 November 1936, Rod was the dearly beloved husband of the late Fay Mary, much loved father of Stephen, David and Jackie, dearly loved grandfather of Juliet, Sophie, Jamie, Harry, William, baby Nicholas and baby Thomas, and father-in-law of Jacqui, dearly loved son of the late George and Laura Brook. Dad will be greatly missed, he had the warmest heart and endless capacity for love and good cheer. A life well lived, with an abundance of adventure, travel, humour and love. Among the many wonderful enduring memories of Dad’s life, we find consolation that he will be reunited with Fay and their beautiful daughter, Jackie.
