O’CONNELL Maureen Louisa - of Gore, passed away suddenly at Dunstan Hospital on January 2, 2022, aged 77 years. Loved wife of the late Maurice. Adored mother and mother-in-law of Kelvin and Jacinta; Wayne; David and Rachel; Tracey, Dean and *Tony. Cherished and proud Nana/Gran of her 10 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Much loved sister and sister-in-law of Kathy and *Snow; *Dinny and Pam; Colleen and Ray; Kevin and Sylvena; *Rosalie and John; Maureen and Noel. Special friend of Heather and Ewen. In lieu of flowers, donations may be left at the service for Diabetes NZ. A service for Maureen will be held at St John The Baptist Catholic Church, , Killarney Street, Alexandra at 1.30pm on Friday, January 7, followed by a private cremation. A vaccine pass will be required to attend the service. Martin, John McCrae,on December 23 2021.So very dearly loved husband of Suzanna, treasured Dada of Tom and Zara. Johnny was never happier than when he was with his family. Johnny will be privately cremated and a celebration of his life will be held at Amisfield Winery and Bistro, 10 Arrowtown-Lake Hayes Road, on Wednesday January 5, from 4 30 to 7 30pm. ANDERSON, Alexander Morell – of Clyde passed peacefully with his family by his side at Goldenview Resthome, Cromwell on January 16, 2022, Dearly loved husband of the late Mabel, much loved father and father-in-law of the late Christine, Ross and Connie (Twizel), Lester and Ruth (Clyde), Grant and Dawne (Perth W.A.), Sally and David (Cromwell), cherished Poppa of his 9 grandchildren and loved great Poppa of his 4 great grandchildren, much loved brother and brother-in-law of Alan and Mavis, Ken and Anna, the late Graham and Reo, Athol and Kay, Keith and Denise, Stuart and Margaret. In lieu a flowers a donation may be left at the church for Central Otago Cancer Society or Clyde Fire Brigade. A service to celebrate the life of Morell will be held on Thursday, January 20 at 1.30pm followed by an interment at The Clyde Cemetery. Macavoy, Genice Phillipa (nee Drake) of Alexandra, passed away at Christchurch Hospital after a courageous battle, on Monday, December 27, 2021, aged 77. Dearly loved wife of Lin, amazing mum and mother in law of Rachel; Sarah and John; Jeremy and Sarah; and Richard and Kate. Supercool Nan to Olivia and George; Luca and Sophia; the late Tim, Ben and Angus; And James, Oscar and Zoe. Loved sister and sister in law of Sandra and Graham; Glenda and Rex; Carolyn and Brendan; Sue and Bruce; Mike and Liz; and Jan and Jon. A very loved Auntie of all her nieces and nephews. A service for Genice will be held at Affinity Funeral Home , 143 Centennial Avenue, Alexandra, on Thursday the 6th of January at 1 00pm, followed by a private interment.
